Workboats

Polaris Marine’s workboat fleet is a range of vessels that provide the customer with an option of using smaller vessels as a compliment to other vessels in our fleet or as an alternative solution to smaller job requirements or hard to access sites.

Our smaller workboats consist of vessels that can be utilised for crew transfers, bottom surveying, fast response capabilities, turbidity/silt curtain installation and project support. The larger vessels within this range are equipped with deck cranes, winches and open deck spaces which provide efficient work platforms for mooring installations or repairs and deliveries of materials into areas with reduced space or water depth.

All equipment on our workboats follow our regimented maintenance program along with our annual survey requirements including regular inspections by the national regulator Cranesafe which is reviewed and audited every 6 months for compliance to our ISO certification.

All the equipment on our vessels is required to be operated by qualified and competent personnel.
