About Canada Bay Council Boat Ramp Uhrs Point

This project focused on the installation of a high-performance boat ramp designed for durability and efficiency. The construction incorporated steel piling to provide a strong and stable foundation, ensuring resilience against environmental forces. HDPE sleeves were utilized to protect the piling from corrosion and wear, enhancing the longevity of the structure. Additionally, FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer) components were integrated into the design, offering a lightweight yet robust solution resistant to water damage and harsh marine conditions.

Beyond the installation of the boat ramp itself, the project also encompassed civil and concrete works to establish a solid and durable base. This included site preparation, grading, and reinforcement to support the ramp and surrounding infrastructure. The concrete works were crucial in creating a slip-resistant and load-bearing surface, ensuring safe and reliable access for marine vessels. These combined efforts resulted in a boat ramp that not only meets high structural standards but also enhances operational efficiency and longevity
