Manton Dam

Polaris Marine Constructions were engaged by Exact Contracting to provide a modular crane barge service at the Dam wall at Manton Dam to deliver the replacement of internal valving and upgrades to the infrastructure of the Intake tower.

Nelligen Bridge Marine Support and Demolition Contract

Polaris Marine Group played a key role in the Nelligen Bridge project, providing overwater support for construction before demolishing the 7-span, 5,000-tonne bridge. The in-house demolition was incident-free, using a suspended work deck with geotextile and drainage to capture debris. Materials were processed on-site and recycled. This project highlighted Polaris Marine’s expertise in complex marine demolition within sensitive waterways.

Seabed Services Pipe Line Deployment

Deploy 3 service pipe lines on the sea floor between Garden Island and Fort Dennison and cover with precast grout mattresses.

Fort Denison – Ferry Wharf

This project included wharf demolition, sea wall remediation, pile installation, concrete works, and the installation of a new pontoon with electrical connections.

Circular Quay – Western Promenade – Soffit Concrete Repairs

This project involved concrete remediation works, including hydro-blasting, shotcrete application, bar reinforcement, protective coatings, and concrete cutting, with site set-up, exclusion zones, and sound curtain installation to ensure safety and minimal disruption.

Manly Boat Shed – Pontoon & Jetty Replacement

This project involved constructing a pontoon, gangway, and timber jetty, including piling, demolition, and electrical connections, to deliver a durable marine access solution.

Kendall Bay – Sediments Remediation, Bubble Curtain & GC Capping

This project involved the overwater transport, placement, and capping of sand and armour materials, integrating environmental controls, precise GPS-guided excavation, underwater sheet pile removal, and multi-team coordination to ensure efficient and compliant marine construction.

Tier One – Maintenance & Emergency Works Contract

We are contracted to maintain the majority of Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) marine assets and serve as the sole emergency works contractor, providing comprehensive repair, maintenance, and refurbishment services across a wide range of infrastructure, including piling, structural, electrical, and diving works.

Port Botany Navigation

The project involved the precise installation of navigational structures using pre-fabricated components, subsea diving operations, and advanced protective coatings to ensure structural integrity, environmental compliance, and long-lasting durability in harsh marine conditions.

Sydney Fish Markets – Demolition

The project involved the complex demolition of Blackwattle Bay Wharf, requiring innovative extraction methods to safely remove over 500 piles amid challenging geotechnical conditions.

Ranger Mine

The project remediated a uranium mine in Kakadu National Park using modular barges and wick drains for safe, efficient stabilisation.

Canada Bay Council Boat Ramp Uhrs Point

A high-performance boat ramp installation featuring steel piling with HDPE protection, FRP components for durability, and reinforced concrete works for a stable, slip-resistant surface.
